연습실은 결과를 만들어내는 공간이기 이전에 수많은 시간을 축적하는 공간이다. 화려한 무대를 완성하기 위해 반복되는 연습과 몰입, 그리고 긴장감이 일상이 되는 장소이기에 공간 또한 이러한 과정을 담아낼 수 있어야 했다.

공간은 하나의 시퀀스로 계획되었다. 빛을 최소화한 긴 블랙 코리도어는 외부와 내부를 분리하며 자연스럽게 감각을 전환시키고, 그 끝에서 마주하는 거대한 라이트 월은 새로운 무대로 진입하는 상징적인 장면을 만들어낸다. 강한 명암의 대비는 공간의 첫인상을 결정하는 동시에 KQ entertainment의 새로운 아이덴티티를 가장 직관적으로 드러내는 요소가 된다.

연습실은 퍼포먼스 자체에 집중할 수 있도록 불필요한 요소를 덜어냈다. 넓은 무주 공간과 끊김 없이 이어지는 거울, 반복되는 선형 조명은 공간의 깊이와 방향성을 강조하며 움직임을 더욱 선명하게 드러낸다. 블랙을 중심으로 구성된 절제된 재료는 공간의 존재감을 낮추고, 퍼포머가 가장 돋보일 수 있는 배경이 된다.

이 프로젝트는 공간이 주인공이 되는 것이 아니라, 그 안에서 만들어지는 움직임과 에너지가 공간을 완성하도록 계획되었다. 인테리어는 하나의 무대장치로 존재하고, 그 위에서 반복되는 연습과 시간이 공간의 진정한 풍경이 된다.

A dance studio is more than a place where performances are perfected. It is a space where countless hours of repetition, focus, and discipline accumulate. As the stage is built through continuous practice, the space was designed to embody that very process.

The project unfolds as a carefully choreographed sequence. A long, dark corridor minimizes visual distraction, separating visitors from the outside world and gradually shifting their focus. At its end, a monumental illuminated wall marks the transition into the rehearsal spaces, creating a symbolic threshold while expressing the renewed identity of KQ Entertainment through a bold contrast of light and shadow.

The rehearsal studios were designed by eliminating anything that distracts from performance. Uninterrupted mirrored walls, expansive open floors, and repetitive linear lighting establish a strong sense of direction and depth, allowing movement to become the defining element of the space. A restrained palette of black finishes recedes into the background, positioning the performers—not the architecture—as the visual focus.

Rather than becoming the protagonist, the interior was conceived as a stage set that allows movement and energy to define the space. Through continuous practice and the passage of time, the studio gradually reveals its true character.
