Monsieur.o는 고전적인 장식 언어를 현대적인 공간 안에 재배치한 프로젝트다.

공간 전반에는 몰딩, 패턴 타일, 기둥 장식과 같은 클래식한 요소들이 반복적으로 등장하며, 하나의 일관된 질서를 만든다. 이들은 단순한 장식에 머무르지 않고, 공간의 리듬과 깊이를 형성하는 구조로 작동한다.

전체 공간은 신사의 이미지를 떠올리게 하는 블랙과 화이트의 대비로 구성된다. 단정한 양복에서 착안한 이 대비는 공간 전반에 절제된 긴장감을 부여하며, 클래식한 장식 요소들을 보다 또렷하게 드러낸다.

중앙의 바와 긴 테이블은 공간의 흐름을 정리하는 중심축으로 작동하고, 반복되는 패턴과 요소들은 시선의 방향을 따라 공간을 하나의 연속된 장면으로 이어준다.

결과적으로 이 공간은 과거의 형식과 현재의 감각이 겹쳐진 하나의 장면으로 완성된다.

Monsieur.o is a project that repositions classical decorative language within a contemporary spatial context.

Throughout the space, classical elements such as moldings, patterned tiles, and ornamental columns are repeatedly used to establish a consistent order. Rather than remaining as mere decoration, they function as structures that shape the rhythm and depth of the space.

The overall space is composed in a black-and-white contrast inspired by the image of a gentleman. Referencing the formality of a tailored suit, this contrast introduces a restrained tension while clearly defining the classical elements.

The central bar and long table act as an organizing axis of the space, while the repeated patterns and elements guide the gaze, connecting the space into a continuous sequence of scenes.

Ultimately, the space is completed as a layered scene where forms of the past and sensibilities of the present coexist.
